The night I met you, I never imagined,
that I'd feel the way I do.
I promised myself I'd never let anyone get close,
but somehow you managed too.

I've been through so much in this life of mine,
I haven't been truly happy in awhile.
But with you its like everyday gets better,
and I'm always wearing a smile.

When you came into my life, you made things right,
you put together what others tore.
You took away my doubts and insecurities,
and reminded me of what I was living for.

They say love finds you when you least expect it,
and now I believe that to be true.
Cause just when i finally gave up,
god gave me his blessing by sending me you.

You've really made a difference in my life,
I love you baby, I really do.
And I hope and pray you feel the same,
cause I'm looking forward to a future with you.

So thank you for putting a smile on my face,
and giving me the faith that I lack.
