CAN I BEGIN TO TELL THEE?
Author: Joyce Hemsley & John William McGrath III.
Thou art my lone poet virtuoso,
thou art my joy for eternity,
and oft' in the silence of the night
they lantern of love shineth on me.
Whenever the evening breezes blow,
across the sky and across the sea,
within the garden of my heart,
I bend to thee; abide with me.
Heavenly angels, they should know
the gift of tomorrow, thou art to me
and oft' in the darkness of the night
I pray to spend tomorrow with thee.
Just like an old-fashioned romeo
I love only one love; believe in me,
and oft' in the fantasy of the night
my heart is ever calling to thee.
