Our love was of the deepest kind

and ran to me ~ O love insane!
excitement rushed through every vein
through the heart and soul of me.

This was the time I lost my head
your handsome face was all to me,
and then ~ one beautiful morn we wed
you rescued me from a lonely bed
and gave your life to me.
