HEART AS ONE

I was lost inside the dark with no place I could turn.
I looked around with all my heart but only felt a burn.
My soul and life was meaningless I cried into the night.
But then you came into my life and showed me the light.

You tore down all the walls I built with iron, brick, and stone.
And let me know that you were there and I was not alone.
You filled me with your happiness and made my life complete.
And now I see our hearts as one together they will beat.
