How Magical Was The Night

I write only ten lines of poetry
on pale blue paper, with subtle perfume,
to tell you ~ how I loved and adored you
as we danced the waltz neath the April moon.

Darling, accept these ten roses,
They say: I love you with kisses galore.

It takes only ten lines of poetry
each line ten syllables, needn't be more
to tell you ~ how magical was the night
we danced together in the Spring moonlight.
