I think of you, with every passing day.
You are right for me in every way.
I had dreams of us, where we lay,
And held each other, by the bay.

I had my chance, I had plenty to say,
But timidness came into play.
My heart could not speak the right way.
Not knowing anything, you walked away.

I see you every now and then.
A small conversation will begin.
But, I'm only seen as just a friend,
And the conversations are based on him.

The way I feel when you say his name.
My heart will never feel the same.
The day I left, and he came.
But, only I can be at blame.

You're new love is what you say.
He brings you flowers everyday.
What I'd give to change that day.
When the love of my life, slipped away.
