I will forever love you
our bond has never felt so strong.
even though you'll no longer be with me
I feel your life linger on.

where will you go my darling?
I see only darkness within the light.
promise to never forget me
when you spread your wings tonight.

and everytime I close my eyes
I see you smile again.
you're going now to a better place
where your sickness will finally end.

but now you lay motionless
your cold hands ontop of mine.
I tried to help, to find a cure
just couldn't keep up with time.

I feel your touch when everytime
the sun shines through the rain.
and when the wind blows through the trees
your caresses soothe my pain.

as I lay in our bed, the one we shared
hear these words spoken true.
