If you would love and cherish me
through years that lie ahead,
and hopefully for eternity,
"life would be roses red".

To have you and to hold you,
and learn the meaning of a thrill,
to fall into your arms in springtime
and oh, to know you love me still.

Within my heart, choirs would sing
whilst I held you by the hand,
we could dance across the meadow,
and down to the golden sand.
