LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP
Author: Adam James Powsney
I'm sitting here in my mind's worst fears
It's the pleasure of lust that invites me here
For imagination cannot deliver
What presence falls short
Just because you're not here
Can't halter the thought
Touching your body in masterful ways
Tempting my fantasies as my mind strays.
Still people say that time will pass
My innermost feelings say it will last
For friendship has risen in place of dust
We're stronger than ever before
My mind has expanded a new dimension
Our erotic conversations promote temptation
When it's our chance, when our time comes
To live together and do school runs
Because friendship and lust have integrated cocktail
The long distance relationship acheived so well
Yet back to the real world, reality bites
I still suffer phone bills and lonely nights
But time will prevail and I'm certain we will
Courage and loyalty aren't short in our camps
Lay back, relax, and turn out the lamps.
