Rescue Me

Author: Becky McCrary

The sun is on my face and the wind is in my hair
I'm going around in circles but I'm getting no where
I have mountains to climb and rivers I must cross
If I have to go alone I'm afraid I might get lost.

The troubled roads I travel are getting me no where
My load is getting heavy and so hard for me to bare
My head is so mixed up and it's difficult to think
If I don't swim above this I'm sure that I will sink.

I'm reaching for your hand, I need to feel you near
I'm slowly going under, I have cried so many tears
I need for you to rescue me or I might surely drown
I've fallen in a deep hole and I'm slowly sinking down.
