RETURN TO ME

No matter how many times you say goodbye,
And I can't sleep at night as I wonder why,
I know you will come back to me, 
And I'll take you back happily.

No matter how many tears I cry, 
Or times I wished I could die, 
I still know you'll call,
And make it okay, after all.

No matter how many times my heart breaks,
Or however many weeks it takes, 
I know not to say "never",
Because you couldn't leave me forever.

No matter what I feel inside, 
Or how much pain I have to hide,
I know you'll be true,
And someday I'll be with you.

No matter what you do, 
Even when my heart splits in two, 
I know you'll be there, 
Because you really do care.

No matter how often we fight, 
Or how long the cold and dark night, 
I know we'll be together before long,
Because our feelings are so strong.

So I won't ever fear, 
And I'll try not to shed any tears, 
Even though it will never be easy, 
I'll have faith that you'll return to me.
