TOGETHERNESS IS LOVE

Author: Joyce Hemsley

Here he comes, my handsome one,
with eagerness to meet me,
here I stand with outstretched hand
to accept the rose he brings me.
All doubts and fears disappear,
now he is here to love me,
there's no-one but he
how could there be?
Togetherness is love you see.

Oh it's fun rambling in the sun
we admire the golden rapeseed,
sweet lambs at play cheer our way
"love all nature" is creed of the day.
Here it comes, goodbye to the sun,
the rain pours down to soak me,
but with his charms and in his arms,
his master-plan protects me,
there's no-one but he
how could there be?
Togetherness is love you see.
